Review of the history of the Yamskaya chase and state post in the Ural region (which includes the Perm Territory, the Sverdlovsk Region and part of the Kurgan Region) in the late 16th - early 20th centuries. In the book, based on materials from the Russian State Historical Archives, the State Archives of the Perm Territory, the Central Museum of Communications named after A.S. Popov and the Perm Museum of Local Lore, the routes of the correspondence are described, the presence of post offices operating on them is described.
