A little known monument of Russian religious art - iconostasis of the Church of Our Lady of Kazan' in Perm' appears in print for the first time in the offered book. The icons were created on the basis of sketches by Ivan Rerikh in 1907 after his trips to Italy and around the cities of the Old Rus. The iconostasis combined Western and Eastern iconographies with the influence of modernist style, and reflected religious-philosophical searches of the Russian Cultural Renaissance of the early XXth century. The authors enlighten many unknown chapters related to the construction of the church and history of the iconostasis.
