Longortova Zinaida Viktorovna (1962-) is a veteran of labor and Yamal, member of the Union of Journalists of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Russia, master of decorative and applied arts of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation. Zinaida Viktorovna actively promotes the cultural values of the peoples of Yamal, collects the folklore of the Khanty people. To date, more than fifty works of oral folklore have been collected and processed. She is the author of more than ten documentary television films based on the tales of the Khanty people, about talented people, about the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and traditional holidays of the Khanty people. The novel tells about the difficult conditions of survival of northern peoples in the 18th and 19th centuries.
