The path of each migration is outlined by graves The work traces the ethno-cultural processes in the Bulgarian pre-Christian society, the factors that underlie them and the model of social organization in VII-IX centuries. The main empirical material comes from the early-medieval necropolises known from today's Bulgarian lands. Archaeological sources are presented in an analytical catalog, which includes all the so-called pagan necropolises and is the first of its kind in the Bulgarian literature. The term Balkan culture is explored in order to study the historical and cultural environment in which necropolises are incorporated and which influences the formation of the Old Bulgarian culture.
