The author conducts an all-round study of ethnic and cultural adaptation of the representatives of local ethnic groups (rural diasporas) of Western Siberia - Latvians, Germans, Ukrainians, Chuvashs and Estonians that formed in the result of mass migrations of the late XIXth and the first quarter of the XXth century.
