In the XVIIth century the Buryats became part of the All-Russian culture under the strong Christian influence, which greatly promoted the appearance of new citizens of Russia. The offered book mentions the functioning of the Buryats' Orthodox missionary church as a part of the Russian Orthodox church in 1861-1905.
