The book narrates about one of the large-scale offensives of the Soviet Army during the Great Patriotic War, which ended in the liberation of the territories of the present-day Republic of Belarus. The operation started on June 22, 1944, lasted 68 days pitting more than 2,000,000 Soviet Soldiers in 200 divisions with 6000 tanks and massed artillery against the 34 divisions of army Group Center and ended in the death or capture of nearly 350000 Fascist troops bringing the Soviet Army to the gates of Warsaw in less than 6 month.
