The book contains the materials of the meeting in memory of the outstanding Russian and Soviet diplomat Oleg Troyanovsky held on January 18, 2010. Oleg Troyanovsky was ambassador of the Soviet Union to Japan and China and was the Soviet Permanent Representative to the United Nations (from 1977 to 1986). He spent his retirement years working on his memoirs and giving lectures in Russia and abroad.
