The collection includes the reports of the participants of the Second Okladnikovsky Local History Readings in Mezen on September 19, 2020. They united the scientific intelligentsia - scientists, students, local historians and the younger generation - students of the Mezen schools. The scientific and local history readings were held in the form of an interregional scientific and practical conference "Social scientists and local historians on the development of civil society in the Russian North." The conference was attended by scientists and ethnographers of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vologda, Arkhangelsk, Mezensky district. Together with eminent scientists, schoolchildren of the Mezensky district presented the first local history research under the guidance of teachers.
