The book by V.Khazan casts light on the history of Russian sailor G.Boklevsky, grandson of a prominent painter P.M.Boklevsky. After the Civil war in 1920 G.Boklevsky found himself in Palestine. Kept his nationality and Orthodox faith, he changed his name (Arye Boevsky) and became one of the founders of the navy and fishing industry of the future Jewish state. The book contains numerous literary texts, kept in Boevsky’s archive.
