This work is the first special study of the phonetics of the Shor dialect of the Khakass language. The consonant system of the Shor dialect is described using objective experimental phonetic methods. The monograph reveals the inventory of consonant phonemes, their distributive and combinatorial characteristics, some morphological patterns, the structural type of consonantism, the dominant characteristics of the articulatory and acoustic base of speakers of the Shor dialect, the specificity of the structural and taxonomic organization of consonantism in the South Siberian Turkic languages.
