This literary and artistic publication opens the pages of the stay of the Russian poet of the twentieth century Nikolai Mikhailovich Rubtsov on the Totma land, little known to the general public. The episodes of the stay of the future poet in the orphanage of the village of Nikolsky, training at the Totma Forestry Technical School, subsequent repeated visits to Totma and Nikola are described in detail. Dozens of memoirs, lists of memorial addresses are published, information is provided on how the memory of the poet is preserved in the Totemsky district today.
