In spite of the number of books dedicated to the last Russian Emperor Nikolai II, his image, mission and posthumous fate in people’s memories are still a mystery. The historians-materialists thoroughly search for plots to be interpreted as political and moral mistakes of Nikolai II. The author of the present book, Alexander Bokhanov, does not agree with such an approach: he is convinced that the unilinear positive thinking is not able to master spiritual sense of history and, consequently, the mission of the orthodox Tzar.
