V.Kovalik is a prominent Ukrainian poet. He was born in 1921 in the USA, but being a 15 year boy he moved to Ukraine to learn the Ukrainian language and stayed there. The poems included into this book were written in different periods of time and even on different continents. Kovalik's poetry is manifold in its themes.
