The book is devoted to the activities of local government, which includes the City Council and the City Committee of the CPSU. The process of their formation and development is traced in detail, especially during the years of the NEP, the first five-year plans, the Second World War, during the years of perestroika and the post-Soviet period. Along with this, the author examines the issues of socio-economic, socio-political and cultural development of our city.
