The monograph is dedicated to the analysis of the narrative structure of Mongolian chronicles (XVII-XIX), literary traditions and artistic means, used by the authors of that time. A research was carried out to examine stages of the chronicles’ development. Elements of foreign cultures’ influences were discovered, and their impacts and roles in formation of the Mongolian literature were shown.
