The book of the Honored Journalist of the Republic of Karelia Yuri Shleikin is a kind of "collection" of his newspaper, magazine and book publications over a half-century period of creativity. Most of the publications are biographical in nature. Sketches, essays, interviews tell about the people with whom he met, communicated, made friends. These are pilots and teachers, scientists and directors of enterprises, politicians and cultural figures. The largest section of the book is dedicated to the author's colleagues, journalists from Karelia.
