"In this book, Dr. Zhivko Voynikov examines the various theories about the origin of the ancient Bulgarians. He presents the sources on which these theories are based, analyzes them and gives his assessment. The author examines the influence of political conjuncture on the official narrative of the ancient Bulgarian past and what other side factors have influenced one or another theory of origin.
