The collection was prepared by the Silver Taiga Foundation within the framework of the project “Sustainable management of fish resources in cooperation with the local population: “Model River Mezen”. It was the result of the activities of the foundation’s employees and its partners (scientists, local historians, social activists) to implement the project. The makes the book unique is the fact that it contains almost all currently available fundamental scientific research and simply statistical materials on the Mezen River and its resources.
