What makes a diary unique? Her written memories and diaries reveal the author's interesting personality and allow to travel through time, as it covers a period from the XIXth century until the end of 1965. The author began to write down memories in 1926, but the last sentence was added after more than 40 years - in 1968. Why is it interesting? The book preserves, as far as possible, the author's way of expression, as well as the manner of writing by Mary Greenberg to supplement the text with a word or sentence in Russian or German. There are also more than 50 unique photos from the collections of the Riga History and Navigation Museum.
