This is a reprint of memoirs written in the English camp of captive warriors of the Ukrainian division "Galicia" in Rimini, Italy. This book was first published in Munich, Germany, in 1952. The author of these memoirs, Evstafy Zagachevsky, was one of the thousands of young people born in Galicia between the two world wars. They were raised in a patriotic spirit, under the influence of their parents and teachers, who had once been in the ranks of the Galician Army or participated in the struggle of the Sich fighters.
