The novel is based on the contemporary life material with a wide coverage of the human types and life situations (homeless persons, aspirants, businessmen, scientists, prostitute, the citizens of Daghestani settlement and blind working at assembly shop at television factory of the town Alexandrov; intellectuals and falling into “cretinism” tramps). The main heroes, the images of which build the narration are two homeless persons and a mathematician.
