The fourth issue of the series "Everyday Life of Yekaterinburg" tells about the emergence of various types of amateur sports in the last decades of the 19th century and their development at the beginning of the 20th century. The book is mainly devoted to those sports (skating, skiing, tennis, wrestling, football, etc.), whose fans were not united in sports organizations for a long time, and then became part of the society of amateur cyclists, thanks to which it turned into the "Yekaterinburg society cyclists and amateurs of physical development”. In addition, the book tells about the first competitions of Yekaterinburg chess and billiard players.
