Fifteen articles by historians and art historians reveal not yet investigated written and iconographical sources, related to the history of Lithuanian manors. The history of several manors (Birzuvenai, Salantai, Kelme, Plunge, Tytuvenai, Pavandene, Bogdanovas, Aluotos, Dukstas etc.) and noble families (Kestartai, Kiskos, Daukantai, Oginskiai, Romeriai, Gruzevskiai, Gorskiai etc.) as well as the development of estate institution and cultural heritage. Chronological limits of the research are rather wide – from the 16th to the end of the 20th century.
