People with a copper forehead, identifying the militia with the power, decided to sacrifice the truth for their short-term gains, to discredit the justice system in Poland with cynical manipulations that would one day be an example of injustice - these are the words of the mother of Grzegorz Przemyk, a newly graduated high school graduate, who in May 1983 was passed to death. beaten by the police. During the investigation and trial, the authorities of the People's Republic of Poland tried to divert attention from the policemen at all costs, trying to shift the responsibility to paramedics and doctors. Cezary Lazarewicz describes in detail the story of Grzegorz Przemyk - from his detention at the Castle Square to the events that followed. It shows the cynicism of the communist authorities, blurring the traces of the crimes, as well as the powerlessness of the authorities of the Third Republic of Poland, who failed to find and punish the guilty. Przemyk's funeral was attended by tens of thousands of people, who, with their hands raised in the sign of victory, walked the coffin to Powazki in complete silence. It is also a crime that did not receive a fair sentence.
