The book is the first such detailed biography of the great-grandson of the great Russian poet A. S. Pushkin – Alexander Nikolaevich Pavlov (1882–1965), a graduate of the law faculty of the Imperial Moscow University, a permanent member of the Vladimir district land management commission, a participant in the First World War and the civil war, who ended his days in exile. The house of A. N. Pavlov and his family in the French town of Carros became a meeting place and a place for many descendants of A. S. Pushkin to communicate in a foreign land. The book contains rich illustrative material, many photographs and documents are published for the first time.
