The articles of the collection deal with the origin and historical development of the Ukrainian language, cover its structure, logic and patterns of construction, the connection of language with thinking, the role of writers, in particular Taras Shevchenko, in its enrichment and approval. Some recommendations for learning the native language at school are given. Through the etymology of the names and names familiar to Ukrainian, its immersion in antiquity is revealed.
