In the series of the famous ethnographer Arkady Podlipsky “Biography of the Vitebsk House”, after a short one, the seventh edition was released, it is dedicated to three ancient buildings on Komissar Krylov Street. The author tells about their former owners and about those persons who were associated with these attractive buildings in one of the preserved pre-revolutionary districts of the city. This is a well-known Belarusian ethnographer N. Kasperovich, the father of the artist M. Dobuzhinsky, a Vitebsk architect T. Kibardin, a Bolshevik S. Krylov, after whom the street is named, and many other prominent people.
