This is a collection of articles devoted to the history of Klaipeda and Konigsberd region. Basing on the materials from the archives of the Russian Federation and former special depositories of Lithuania, collected in 1993-1995, the authors of the articles aim at revealing some unknown historical facts and analyzing the status of the civilian population in this region in different historical periods. Particular attention is paid to the post-war period when this territory was divided between the USSR and Poland in the Potsdam Conference in 1945.
