The present book suggests new vectors for the discussions concerning the reasons, for which the Red army was defeated in summer 1941. In his new book Mark Solonin, who was considered Viktor Suvorov’s supporter before, actually disproves the latter’s sensational hypothesis. V.Suvorov claims that in summer, 1941 Stalin was going to attack Germany. And if Hitler had not attacked ahead of Stalin, Wehrmacht would have been defeated in several days. Suvorov’s hypothesis is still sharply debated. However, prier to publication of the present book none of Suvorov’s critics noticed, that the alternative, described by him, actually took place. On June 25, 1941 the Red Army put the “Suvorov’s” theory into practice! What did the check show? What could have happened if Stalin had attacked Germany first?
