In Jewish families, special emphasis is placed on the upbringing and education of children from an early age. The complex development of Jewish education in different periods was related to the process of equalizing Jews with the rest of the population, which also contributed to the development of Jewish schools. The author describes the development of Jewish education in Slovak territory, the social and political conditions that directly shaped and threatened Jewish education, while it had to resist political and ideological pressures and growing anti-Semitism. It details the formation of school policy in the period of the 1st Czechoslovakia, the gradual exclusion of Jewish students from studies in all schools during the Slovak state, as well as the operation of Jewish folk schools in labor camps on the territory of Slovakia.
