The book is the first of the series. It is about the life of the partisan of Green National Team in 1944-1946. Vladas Vysniunas (secret: Grazvydas, Ausrele) – teacher, builder, writer, partisan, political prisoner SZ-877. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison and 5 years of exile without rights. After serving his sentence in various camps, he was exiled to Karaganda. in 1961 returned to Lithuania. Collaborated in the partisan press, prepared the typewritten almanac "Words from the Forest" (3 issues). In the year of independence, in the anthology "Tremtinio Lietuva", in the almanacs "Varpai", "Baltija", in the magazine "Metai", some newspapers published poetry, prose on the subject of partisan battles, camps. In 1995 he won a prize for the short story "Mindaugas" in the short story competition organized by the Lithuanian National Union of the USA. He published the first book of the Archive of Exile "Northern Sketches" (1990), published short stories and philosophical essays. In 1997 V. Vysniunas was awarded the "Varpa" literary prize.
