This publication tells about some little-known, half-forgotten, and even completely forgotten pages in the history of domestic state security agencies (VCHK-OGPU-NKVD-NKGB-MGB-MVD-KGB), who shared the fate of the Belarusian people in 1917 in all incredible trials.
They acted in different geopolitical, economic, strategic, military and ideological realities. Their history is a chronicle of our land - Belarus. And, first of all, a story about the life of its people, natives of the Belarusian land, whose destinies were often tragic. The publication contains both brief biographical information and essays on the fates of these spies and counterintelligence.
Its format does not claim to be a complete coverage of this topic, especially since, due to many circumstances, not all representatives of the "invisible front" can still be told. In some cases, more complete biographical and other data are not available for a number of individuals. This, I think, is a question of the future ...
