The blessing gained by killing the myth of Sava Nemanjić was clouded even during the reign of his first descendants by rumors about the appearance of flying churches in the far west of the empire, in the Ibar Valley, which fly from hill to hill, from end to end, from coast to coast, and thus evade the still valid ban on construction and demolition. But it was only the vain and very pious Murat IV in the spring of 1630 who sent his trusted investigator to investigate this phenomenon and expose it at its root.
