Filippov Mikhail Mikhailovich (1858-1903) was a Russian writer, philosopher, journalist, physicist, mathematician, popularizer of science and encyclopedist. Biographical essay about Immanuel Kant – the greatest German philosopher, the founder of German classical philosophy, written in the genre of poetic chronicle and historical and cultural heritage. The author introduces the reader to the biography of the scientist, to the formation of his thinking and popularly expounds the ideas of the great philosopher, whose works had a huge influence on the development of philosophical thought of the 18th and subsequent centuries.
The presented book is a reprint of the 1893 edition, but in modern Russian, illustrated.
