The research area of II International Workshop is devoted to discussion of luminescent mechanism nature in complex oxide dielectric materials, prospects of application of oxide luminescent materials in quantum electronics and scintillator technique. Topics of the seminar are: intrinsic and impurity luminescence, optical and thermostimulated processes, perspective luminescence and scintillator oxide materials; energy band structure, defects and impurities, application of lead tungstate crystals; luminescent properties of transition metal ions in oxides; luminescent and optical phenomena in unordered oxides.
