Geographically, the settlements, about which Vlad Pron writes quite interestingly, are located not far from the regional center of the Pukhovichi region - Maryina Gorka. In his fictional and documentary essay, the author dwelled on people - natives of these places, on those characters who are somehow connected with the villages of Baba, Berlezh, Bluj and other settlements. There are many illustrations in the book. Vlad Pron talks about ordinary peasants, about students and teachers, about the holders of military orders and medals.
