Hilarion Pavlyuk is a journalist and TV documentary filmmaker, author of a number of high-profile documentaries. He was born in 1980 in the Kherson region in the city of Skadovsk. He studied journalism at the East Ukrainian National University (Luhansk). In 2001 he moved to Kyiv. He began his television career in the news as an international reporter, specializing in the Arab-Israeli conflict. For the last ten years he has been producing television programs, feature series and documentaries as a producer and screenwriter. In 2015 he took part in the war in the East as a member of a volunteer battalion. "I see you are interested in darkness" is a story about impenetrable human indifference and darkness within us. About honesty and the price we are willing to pay for oblivion. About materialized sins and atonement, more precious than peace.
