The book consists of interviews with the aviators, who replaced the deceased ones in hard fights of 1941-1942. Though many of them graduated from aviation schools having in total just 20 hours of flights, they had a chance to be trained by a skillful heads of the air squadron on whom live of a young soldier largely depended. The former aviator describes his own war experience.
