The book contains correspondence of Empress Alexandra Feodorovna, covering the period from 1886 to 1918. Letters, notes, postcards and telegrams of the Empress give a vivid idea of her strong and versatile personality, the main stages of her life and spiritual path, views on the upbringing of children and questions of faith, relationships with family and friends and, in general, about the life of the Royal family. In addition to numerous printed sources, materials from the State Archives of the Russian Federation, the library of Yale University (USA), the Russian Cultural Foundation were used. The Russian State Archive of Social and Political History, the Museum of the Orthodox Church of Finland Riisa (Kyonno Finland) A significant part of the translations and original texts is published for the first time. The letters are provided with notes, additional text and illustrative materials, as well as an index in which the names, initials and nicknames are deciphered.
