Notes for memory "is a book of prose in which the author tries to explore and tell about her Hutsul family through her mother's lineage, starting from her great-grandfather Lukyan, the organizer of the first school in her native mountain village during the reign of Franz Joseph. Andrey Sheptytsky, Fr. Oleksiy Volyansky, Hnat Khotkevych, Luka Harmatiy, Stanislav Vincez, and Martin Pollak are personalities closely connected with the Hutsul family. For their great work and rank, their names have already been inscribed in the history of the Hutsul family. Their connection with the Hutsuls is also mainly discussed in this book.
