The book provides the history of the struggle between the Grand Duchy of Moscow and the Polish-Lithuanian Union in the second half of the XVth – the beginning of the XVIth centuries. It describes political relations between the two states after Ivan III became the Grand Prince of All Rus, and the war of the Moscow state in alliance with the Crimean Khanate agaist the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The publication is written by Gennady Karpov, a well-known Russian historian of the XIXth century.
