The readers of this solid research – of the series “History of the Bulgarians from Macedonia” will be acquainted with the emergence of the term "Macedonia" as an administrative district of Byzantium and the ethnic composition of its population. They will learn about the role of the Bulgarian Archbishopric of Ohrid to the preservation of the Orthodox and Bulgarian national spirit. The readers will also learn why was called the first national organization Macedonian-Adrianople Organization; why did all leaders of the revolutionary struggles in Macedonia declare themselves as Bulgarians, why did the communist regime announced the theme of Macedonia for taboo for 45 years; why is there no national rationalized Bulgarian policy towards Macedonia even today and others. With this edition the author wants to give a worthy answer to the “creators of the Macedonian nation”, who not just falsify historical facts and events from the Bulgarian national history but they also physically destruct the traces which remind to Bulgaria in the Macedonian lands.
