The monograph completes the study of the history of Simferopol as an administrative center, the capital of the Crimea with a scientific and historical
points of view to the 240th anniversary of the city. It also included such significant dates as the 200th anniversary of the city theater, the 30th anniversary of the restoration of the state status in the form of the Republic of Crimea-ARC-Republic of Crimea. During this period, the city has gone through a huge socio-political and socio-economic path in its development, as described in the first 2 parts of the history of the city for its 235th anniversary.
This study analyzes a short but important stage when the city regained the status of the capital of the Republic of Crimea, which was enshrined in its 3 Constitutions (1992, 1998 and 2014), on the one hand, lost its industrial potential, on the other.
