The articles constituting the core of the proposed collection belong to the pen of distinguished scientists of Kazakhstan and CIS countries (historians, ethnographers, ethnologists, philologists and archaeologists) and touch on actual questions of ethno- and culture genesis of Aral-Caspian peoples. Due attention is given to the history and culture of nomadic peoples of this region (Oguzes, Kypchaks, Turkmen, Kazakhs, etc) in the antiquity and Middle Ages. Considerable part of the articles is devoted to the results of the archaeological researches in the Aral-Caspian region. Maps, charts, tables and illustrations are significantly complement to the context.
