The historical-etymological dictionary contains vocabulary borrowed by the Old Belarusian literary and written language from other languages or used under foreign influence. Based on factual material and etymological considerations, the semantic structure and source of origin and penetration of each lexeme are examined, its word-forming activity on Belarusian soil is determined.
