High school student Mark finds himself in a whirlwind of events when a film crew arrives in his hometown to make a historical film about Hetman Sahaidachnyi. Something unexpected happens, and Mark is invited to play the role of the young Hetman: he looks an awful lot like Sahaidachnyi in his youth. To cope with the role, Mark needs to establish a relationship with his partner Liza and learn a lot about his character's life.
