A.D.Gradovsky (1841-1889) is a historian, writer, one of the ideologists of Russian liberalism, the author of numerous works on history of law and Russian public institutions, as well as state laws of West European countries. This collection includes articles published in such magazines as “Vestnik Evropy”, “Russkaya Rech”, “Sbornik Gossudarstvennykh Znanii” and in the newspaper “Golos”.
