The exhibition presents more than 200 weapons from the countries of the Near and Middle East, Central Asia and the Caucasus, united in several thematic blocks. Among the exhibits are cold and firearms, defensive weapons, as well as decorative and applied art objects related to military culture. In Islamic culture, the outer shell of an object, including weapons, carries complex information. It can be read in the materials and techniques, elements of the ornament and images of the decor of objects, but for this you need to know their "language". One of those who mastered it was Ivan Alekseevich Bunin. Therefore, the title of the exhibition sounds like a line from his poem "Secret", which, due to its accuracy, accompanies the entire conversation about weapons.
