The book is dedicated to the prominent politician and statesman G.G. Vedernikov and his time. The book was written on the basis of a study of archival documents, publications, memoirs of associates and contemporaries. Vedernikov had a dizzying career growth throughout his life: from an assistant steelworker at the Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant to the secretary of the regional party committee and finally the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Denmark. Rabchenok Leonty Mikhailovich is a Candidate of Historical Sciences, fund manager of the United State Archive of the Chelyabinsk Region.
